A massive boat show is sailing into Abu Dhabi

There will be live cooking stations, golf training, fly-boarding, an obstacle course and more

We like big boats… Don’t you?

Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) is cruising into Abu Dhabi from today (Wednesday October 13) until Saturday October 16 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) with 353 exhibitors and brands from 28 countries.

The show will be held at the ADNEC marina, opposite to Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre at Arabian Gulf Street. There you can see all the incredible boats, and dream of life on the seas.

Capital Travel, part of Tourism 365 company is participating, with a special platform that will provide a range of travel and tourism packages for many countries around the world. Trips will include cruises and water activities, for the water babies among us. Be sure to bring your water wings.

Foodies and cooking enthusiasts will be able to enjoy live demonstrations at the Fishmarket attraction, with award-winning chef Manish Law.

Fan of golf? Saadiyat Beach Golf Club is providing golf training, where you’ll get to practise driving golf balls made from fish food as far as you can into the water. Prizes will be awarded for skill and style.

The UAE Flyboarding Championship is being organised by Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, with competitions between UAE amateur and pro athletes. Compete, or watch the pros show off their skills and tricks on the water. There will also be live music and entertainment at the competition site to ensure everyone is having as much fun as the flyboarders themselves.

Fancy yourself an obstacle course expert? You won’t want to miss the Desert Shield Challenge, where the Desert Shield Club will provide its first obstacle course in Abu Dhabi. Kids and big kids alike can challenge themselves to overcome the obstacles. (We hear there’s a tire flipping competition, better drink your protein shakes, folks).

All visitors to the show who are sixteen years and older must be fully vaccinated, and provide a negative PCR test taken less than 48 hours before entry. Children aged 12 to 15 need a PCR test taken less than 48 hours before entry, and anyone under 12 will not need a PCR test.

All aboard.
