Volunteer at World Tennis Champs in Abu Dhabi

Perfect for tennis-mad children that want to be a ball kid

Fancy volunteering at Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi? Perhaps you have a tennis mad child on your hands? There’s good news as registration is now open for Ball Kids and the Volunteer Programme.

Fancy rubbing shoulders with world-class tennis stars in Abu Dhabi? Mubadala World Tennis Championship organisers lash Entertainment are giving tennis fans and the UAE public an ace opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of the Arabian Gulf’s leading tennis experience through the popular Ball Kids and Volunteer Programmes.

This three-day event starts on Thursday December 16, running through to Saturday December 18.

Registration is now open for the programmes, which offer a number of roles for aspiring young tennis players and residents to get involved in 13th edition of the people’s favourite Abu Dhabi event.

The special programme is operated by Zayed Sports Academy at the International Tennis Centre at Zayed Sports City and interested candidates can register until 16 October.

Selection Day is on 21 October, following which selected children will receive seven weeks’ specialised training on how to perfect the on-court craft, a crucial role in a tennis match.

Training will run on November 4, 6, 11, 18, 25 and December 9 with a final rehearsal on December 15.

UAE residents can also get in on the action through the MWTC Volunteer Programme. The Championship is looking for 150 volunteers for a variety of positions including Player Clinics Support, Volunteer Team Leaders, Tennis Village Operations, Guest Services, Gate Ushers & Wayfinding and Announcer.
