As the weather starts to heat up, so do all the summer events. We all love a good belly laugh, right? Well, you’ll be in stitches with this celebration as Dubai Comedy Festival returns.
Last year the Dubai Comedy Festival took place over ten days, but this year the team are tacking on an extra day of laughs. Hurrah! This year Dubai Comedy Festival will take place over 11 days (yes, 11) with an incredible line up of hilarious international comedians.

Running from Thursday May 12 through to Friday May 22, there will be non-stop lols across the city. The gigs will be held in various locations; from the iconic stage of the Coca-Cola Arena to The Agenda in Dubai Media City and The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates.
Over the last number of editions, the Dubai Comedy Festival has welcomed some of the world’s best comedic talents such as Maz Jobrani, NEMR, Eddie Griffin, Mina Liccione, Vir Das, Gad Elmaleh and Ali Al Sayed.
Back for another year, Dubai Comedy Festival will have everyone laughing with a combination of international and local talent taking to the stage.
Expect a whole host of stand-up comedy gigs in various different languages and some funny activations that are promised to be ‘side-splittingly hilarious’. Exactly what we all need.
Although the line-up for 2022 is yet to be confirmed, we have been told that over the course of the 11-day celebration of laughter, the world’s funniest individuals will have you ‘fight to catch your breath’ with their hilarity.
The famous names set to grace the stages of Dubai at this year’s extravaganza are yet to be announced but will be revealed soon, so stay tuned to Time Out for all the updates.
