Get the digital pass for the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2022

The pass gets you access to live-streamed sessions around the world

The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2022 has announced the launch of the Digital Pass, which gives access to selected live-streamed discussions. You won’t have to miss out on any of the literary action, whether you’re coming to the festival in person or would rather stream it remotely.

The festival goes from Thursday February 3 to Sunday February 13 and is one of the world’s biggest festivals of literature. This year it’s being held in Al Habtoor City in Dubai, but the launch of the Digital Pass means the event can be accessed from anywhere in the world. The pass costs Dhs100 and is available from emirateslitfest.com.

There will be loads of panel discussions available virtually for pass holders. Wondering what to add to your docket? The Originality in Crime Fiction panel discusses how to write fresh crime thriller stories and the Inventions that Changed the World panel has scientists putting forward their cases for the greatest scientific discovery or invention of all time.

We’ve been looking forward to this massive lit fest l since the line-up was announced in November. Authors of Netflix sensations Bridgerton and Chernobyl, as well as the writer of House of Gucci and No Music at Al Ahmadi will all be there as well as superstar animators Mohammed Saeed Harib, creator of Freej, and animator Ken Arto of Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

Looking to attend the event in person? In-person tickets start at Dhs65 for adult sessions and Dhs40 for children’s sessions. Visitors will need to wear masks and provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours.
