It’s here. Dubai Hills Mall is now open. Of course, Time Out scooted down this morning to get a quick first glimpse of what you can expect. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Dubai Hills Mall.

It’s safe to say that no matter what you’re interested in you’ll be able to find something to do, see or eat at the Dubai Hills Mall.

There has been so much excitement surrounding this new opening, not just for the incredible shops but also for the unique and brand new adventure park and rollercoaster.

Everything you need to know about the new Dubai Hills Mall

For foodies

You’ll be well looked after here. Starbucks, Shake Shack and Pinkberry all have locations opening at the Dubai Hills Mall. You won’t know where to hit first, with options like deliciously juicy burgers from CZN Burak Burger, fresh handrolled sushi from Miyabi Sushi or some flavoursome Asian dishes from Wagamama. We’ve also heard that crowd favourite Five Guys will also have a location in the mall.

Stay with Time Out for more announcements on the opening of additional delicious food outlets at the city’s newest dining destination.

For fashionistas

If you love your fashion or just strolling around the shops, you’ll end up spending hours at the mall as there are almost 600 retail spaces in the Dubai Hills Mall. But what retailers can we expect to see? Fashionistas will find a wide variety of popular international brands like American Eagle, H&M , Foot Locker and Victoria’s Secret, plus Zara, Mango, Oysho, Massimo Dutti and Stradvarius. Marks and Spencer will also have a stand-alone store on the ground floor of the mall. It’s opening date has still not been confirmed but we’re hoping it’s soon.

For the house proud

If you’re revamping the house or looking for some inspo, earlier this week we confirmed that well-known furniture stores Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm will also open. Add a touch of European flair to your home with pieces from Zara Home or get organised with Muji. Or maybe you’re more into spending time cooking for the family? For beauty gurus

The Dubai Hills Mall will be the ultimate one-stop-shop for all things beauty, from make-up brands to perfumeries and nail bars. This morning, the Time Out team spotted a stand-alone Benefit store (already planning our return trip) and Nars, Mac, Make Up Forever, Inglot, NYX and Flormar are also set to open at the Dubai Hills Mall soon. Beauty buffs can also expect to see the likes of Sephora, Elemis, Bath & Body Works, The Body Shop, while Penhaligon’s, Jo Malone, Molton Brown and L’óccitane en Provence will offer their usual array of beautiful smelling perfumes, ouds and home fragrances.

For thrill-seekers

Close your eyes and hold on tight – there is so much adventure to be found at the Dubai Hills Mall. At this stage, we’ve all heard about the insane indoor rollercoaster ‘The Storm’ that is… well, taking the city by storm. This is not an experience to miss, especially with prices starting at just Dhs49. The Storm is a high-octane indoor rollercoaster with twists and turns, inclines and massive dives that are definitely not for the faint-hearted. Expect non-stop action throughout the two-and-a-half minute ride that will leave you breathless and elated all at the same time.

The Adventure Park by Emaar comprises of 11 different elements; the Jump Park, Ninja Park and Cave Maze to name just a few. Jump Park is the perfect place to exhaust little people (and adults too) – bounce the day away on enormous trampolines. Test your balance, coordination and agility at the Ninja Park and for smaller children head to The Playground, is the perfect safe space to explore, interact and engage with other kids. From slides, big and small to a huge ball pit, they will be entertained for hours.
Prices into the Adventure Park start at Dhs89. Book your tickets at entertainment.emaar.com.

For film buffs

We know that a stunning Roxy Cinema will open at the mall, although the exact opening date is yet to be confirmed. Expect plush seats, buckets of buttery popcorn and the ultimate spot for date night. As soon as we have more information, we’ll make sure you have all the details.

With all of this and more, the Dubai Hills Mall will undoubtedly be on everyone’s list to see this weekend.
