Ossiano Dubai

These are the three best restaurants in the UAE, according to fine dining experts

Three Dubai based restaurants received three toques and top marks

Three top Dubai restaurants were awarded the highest points in the UAE and three toques each at the inaugural Gault&Millau UAE Gala, held on Tuesday June 14.

The inaugural Gault&Millau UAE Gala was held at Burj Al Arab, where many of Dubai’s top chefs, restaurant owners, food writers and media were in attendance.

Coming out on top and scooping three toques were three of Dubai’s top restaurants, now rated as the top three restaurants in the UAE according to French-born fine dining food critique guide Gault&Millau.

Ossiano, Atlantis The Palm

Ossiano at Atlantis The Palm was named Gault&Millau’s Restaurant of the Year after receiving the highest score in the UAE, and claiming three-toque status in this year’s Gault&Millau UAE Guide.

In addition to Ossiano’s restaurant accolades, executive chef Grégoire Berger was awarded the coveted title of Chef of the Year. Renowned among Dubai foodies for his unique culinary approach, Berger rejoined Ossiano earlier this year to take the fine dining restaurant, famously located against Atlantis, The Palm’s Ambassador Lagoon aquarium, to the next level.

The award-winning seafood restaurant is a familiar fine-dining name on Time Out Dubai’s Best Restaurants list, Ossiano was Highly Commended in the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards 2022.

Al Muntaha, Burj Al Arab

Receiving three toques, Al Muntaha was also acknowledged as one of the UAE’s best restaurants at the Gault&Millau award ceremony last week. Found on the very top floor of the gilded Burj Al Arab, Al Muntaha is perched on the edge of the building with panoramic views across the Arabian Gulf.

Found on the 27th floor, decorated with hues of blues and greens to mimic the colours of the Gulf found below, Al Muntaha serves fine-dining French food with Italian flair.

Coming in as one of the UAE’s top rated restaurants, Al Muntaha also came in on top as winner of Wine Offering of the Year 2022.

Armani/Ristorante, Armani Hotel Dubai

Armani/Ristorante at Armani Dubai, one of Time Out Dubai’s Best Italian Restaurants 2022, also won three toques at the Gault&Millau UAE awards.

Inside Dubai’s towering Burj Khalifa, Armani/Ristorante charts a course through classic Italian dishes and ingredients, but while a dish may sound familiar, the execution is generally dialed up several notches.

With this win in mind, Armani/Ristorante is one of just three, three-toque rated restaurants in the UAE.
