It’s time to dig out your lederhosen and dirndls because Stills, Crowne Plaza Yas Island is hosting a huge Oktoberfest celebration this month.
From October 14 and 16, Stills will be transformed into an incredible biergarten to celebrate the largest folk festival in the world. We’re talking Bavarian bites, including salads, cold cuts, pretzels, German brotchen rolls, Hefezopf (braided sweet bread), and kornstangen (German seeds and nut rolls).
Over on the main menu you can feast on Bavarian Huehchen Goulash, Nespresso short ribs, roasted chicken roulade, and Königsberger Klopse.
There will also be live stations with a barbecue area for frankfurters, bratwursts, black angus brisket and sirloin beef roast. Plus a dedicated section for the Lamb Al Asador and other signature Stills dishes like rotisserie chicken and loaded baked potatoes. Yum. Room for dessert? Of course you do. Dive straight into a choice of strawberry Romanoff, German chocolate cake and Bavarian apple fritters.
And no Oktoberfest would be complete without some liquid to wash all of that down. Stills will be offering a plethora of Bavarian hops, alongside brilliant drinks deals including six bottles for Dhs149, a pint for Dhs50 and half a pint for just Dhs30. If you want to indulge in a combo (because, why not?) you can enjoy a German snack and hops combo for just Dhs89.
There’s also an epic eat-all-you-want deal for Dhs199 from 7pm onwards.
It’s the live entertainment on offer that really takes the cake. Iconic band Gaudiblosn will be flying all the way from Munich to bring authentic Bavarian vibes to the capital that you won’t want to miss.
