Celebrate UAE National Day at Al Maryah Island

Al Maryah Island will mark the UAE’s Golden Jubilee in style with a series of #IAMUAE celebrations that you don’t want to miss. The festivities will highlight the nation’s diversity, with a variety of celebratory activities across the Plaza Level South.

Ready for the holiday?

There will be an interactive installation, inviting guests to upload a selfie as part of a social media mural of the UAE flag. You will also get the chance to take home memories including pins and flags.

There will be special food and drinks to try, workshops, entertainment and much more.

Wondering where to watch the best National Day fireworks? There will be a drone and fireworks show on Thursday December 2 and Friday December 3 starting at 9pm.

You can also get a personalised Arabic calligraphy gift at the stand next to Caboodle when you spend Dhs200. The first 100 visitors will also get a box of premium chocolates, while the first 300 visitors will receive a Dhs100 gift voucher for Liv Urban Boutique.

Al Maryah Island is also doing a fireworks show and concert for New Year’s Eve. The concert will feature three of the region’s most popular stars: Hussain Al Jassmi, Elissa and Balqees. Catch them there on Friday December 31 at the Al Maryah Island South Plaza, and will include a massive firework finale.

The concert will be the fifth edition of the annual New Year’s Eve event, and is taking place in the South Plaza for the first time. The venue has capacity for 1,200 concert-goers and will be surrounded by all of our favourite Al Maryah Island spots: from retail to dining to hotels.
