Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority is set to resume inter-city bus services between Dubai and Abu Dhabi starting on Tuesday August 9.
Following a brief hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the resumption of inter-city bus service E102 marks a return to normalcy for public transport between the two Emirates.

Travellers from Dubai can catch the inter-city shuttle service E102 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station, which will take them to Musaffa Community Bus Station in Abu Dhabi.
The inter-city bus service will operate every 60 minutes. And passengers will be travelling in comfort, as the RTA buses are air-conditioned and spacious.
In addition, using the inter-city bus service can prove to be a cost-effective and convenient means for inter-city travel since the buses are also well-connected with other modes of public transport.
But the buses from Dubai to Abu Dhabi are not the only ones that are commencing operations on Tuesday August 9.
If you’re exploring Dubai, RTA will also extend eight of their other bus routes on the same date.
Route 24 will be extended to reach the International City Bus Station, Route 44 will be extended to pass by Jaddaf, Route 88 will be extended to the Dubai Internet City, Route C04 will be extended to pass by Jaddaf, Route F08 will be extended to pass by Al Tawar, Route F33 will be extended to pass along a new business district, Route F56 will be extended to the Dubai Internet City, and Route X28 will be extended to the Dubai Internet City.
Public transport is good for both the wallet and the environment, making a case for ditching the car for the bus.
