Emirates is expecting its busiest period yet in June and July

Have you booked your summer holiday yet?

If the answer is no, then it could be time to get your skates on as Emirates Airlines is urging travellers to lock in their travel plans as it is expected that over 550,000 customers are expected to jet out of the UAE this June and July.

That is a lot of people taking to the skies. Think of all the luggage.

In order to make travelling as smooth as possible for those departing the UAE over the warmer months to cooler climates, to see loved ones or to just take some time out to relax, Dubai-based airline Emirates is adding more flights to its roster.

The airline will also be operating close to 80% of their pre-pandemic capacity, and will offer over 1 million weekly seats this summer to serve demand.

As people try to secure more and more seats on planes, Emirates is encouraging customers who haven’t planned their holidays or made travel arrangements to book now.

Interested in where people are heading this summer? This year, travellers from the UAE will be heading to Emirates’ six UK destinations as well as Cairo, Amman, Manila, Beirut and the nine Indian destinations serviced by Emirates flights.

As travel gets back on its feet following the pandemic, are you looking forward to getting away?

This week, the busiest airport in the worldDubai International Airport (DXB), will be back to having fully operational runways after the upgrading of the northern runway.

The northern runway will reopen on Wednesday June 22. The runway has been closed for refurbishment and upgrading for the last 45 days.

During this time Emirates did not experience any changes during the closure of the northern runway. All flights scheduled in and out of DXB’s Terminal 3 operated as normal and continue to do so.
