Watch the UAE play Australia in the World Cup playoff

Kick-off is at 10pm on Tuesday June 7

Things are hotting up ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Tomorrow (Tuesday June 7) the UAE will play Australia at the Al Rayyan Stadium in Doha at 10pm (UAE time).

The winning team will then go on to play Peru in the inter-continental playoff on Monday June 13 to qualify for a place in the World Cup. Once at the World Cup in December, the winning team will be in Group D where they will play France (who won the World Cup in 2018), Denmark and Tunisia.

If the UAE beats Australia, 2022 will mark the UAE team’s first entry into the World Cup tournament since their 1990 debut.

You can watch the match on the big screen (complete with all your favourite cinema snacks) as Roxy Cinemas (who are showing it in Gold and Diamond class) and Vox Cinemas, are showing the match across their branches.

Kicking off at 10pm, the match will be commentated in Arabic at Vox Cinemas, and Roxy Cinema’s Al Khawaneej branch. If you’d prefer to watch in English, head to the Roxy Cinema branches at City Walk and The Beach.
