Motorists have been advised to plan ahead their journey and remain cautious while driving as weekend road closures in Abu Dhabi will be taking place.
The Integrated Transport Centre has announced the temporary closure of two key roads in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

The two weekend road closures in Abu Dhabi include the two left lanes heading towards the Corniche on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street.
The authority added that the closure will begin on Saturday, September 17 and will last until Monday, September 19.

In a tweet posted on Sep 16, the authority said that there will be partial weekend road closures in Abu Dhabi on Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street in the capital.
Both the left lane towards Maqta bridge and right lane towards Corniche will be closed from Friday, September 16 from 11pm to 11pm on Saturday, September 17.
The right lane towards Maqta bridge and left lane towards Corniche will be closed from Saturday, 17 September from 11pm to 5am on Monday, September 19.
