There’s still a chance to get tickets

Tickets to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 have sold out.

But there are still plenty of ways to win your way into the stadiums.

Here are four ways you could win an all-expenses-paid trip of a lifetime to one of the world’s greatest sporting spectacles.

But be quick: the final whistle on some of these competitions blows today.

And if you don’t score free tickets, fret not, for there are still going to be some brilliant places to watch the World Cup in Dubai, including a huge FanZone bu McGettigan’s in Media City, a fan zone in DIFC and a watching area on the beach of JBR.

All expenses trip up for grabs with just the ‘Tickit’

Rewards programme app, Tickit, has teamed up with Visa to provide four winners a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

If you’ve downloaded the Tickit app and linked your Visa card, entering is simple:  Spend over Dhs100 at one of 700 outlets and 300 brands across the UAE to enter the draw. A spend of Dhs200 allows for two entries, a spend of Dhs300 for three entries and so on.

You can do this at on brunches, lunches, dinners and staycations across destinations, such as Bluewaters, City Walk, La Mer, The Beach, JBR Al Khawaneej Walk, Madinat Jumeriah and the Hatta Resorts.

Each winner will receive two tickets to two Group Stage matches at the FIFA World Cup three nights’ full-board accommodation in a luxury five-star hotel, return flights, airport transfers in Doha, Visa Everywhere lounge access and more.

Careem has partnered with Visa to give customers across the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait the chance to win a free trip to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Just use the code “VISA” when you book a ride or when you order groceries from Quik on Careem using your Visa card, and you’ll be automatically eligible to win the World Cup package.

Qatar Airways’ VR challenge

Qatar Airways plans to give fans an immersive footballing experience. The country’s national carrier has launched an inflight virtual reality experience called the Qverse. Here, users can access an interactive experience and watch a new campaign on the virtual inflight entertainment screen. During the immersive experience, users can play the Inflight Delight Game for a chance to win a FIFA World Cup travel package, inclusive of match tickets, return flights and accommodation.

Spend big, win big with Emirates NBD

Courtesy of Visa (you can see a trend here), Emirates NBD credit and debit card holders have the chance to win two tickets to the football showpiece. Spend Dhs5,000 or more until 15 September to be in with a chance of being one of 10 lucky winners to get an all-expenses paid to Doha.

The prize is a great package that includes flights, hotel accommodation, a range of premium dining experiences, sightseeing opportunities and, of course, two tickets to watch some of the world’s finest footballers grace sport’s biggest stage.
