Head to the centuries-old Fort Aguada and its lighthouse on Sinquerim Beach, which served as a reference point for vessels coming from Europe and guarded the Portuguese against the Dutch navy in the
16th century.

Make time to visit the Mandovi-Zuari Wildlife Sanctuary. Located on the confluence of the Mandovi and the Zuari rivers, the popular sanctuary includes almost 20 species of mangrove tree, as well as a great variety of birds and aquatic animals.

Located in the heart of the backpackers’ scene, the flea market in the beach town of Anjuna, situated off the North of Goa, takes place every Wednesday. You’ll find travellers and residents selling off random possessions. It’s bargain central.
