UAE residents can donate essential Ramadan boxes to those in need with Carrefour

In partnership with Emirates Red Crescent

Ramadan is a time for family and helping those in need where possible.

Until the end of Ramadan, Carrefour is offering shoppers the chance to do a good deed and help those in need in the UAE with a new initiative.

In partnership with Emirates Red Crescent, shoppers can purchase Ramadan boxes filled with essentials to be sent to families in need.

Boxes cost Dhs50 or Dhs100 and can be purchased in-store or online.

Each box contains items like sunflower oil, rice, sugar, juice and lentils.

Boxes are distributed weekly to those who need support and will provide meals for families.

“During a month devoted to empathy and understanding, we are humbled to play our part in strengthening the community,” said Philippe Peguilhan, country manager, Carrefour UAE, at Majid Al Futtaim Retail.

“Our collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent aligns with our approach to supporting people, especially during difficult times.

“This campaign aims to distribute the donated boxes on behalf of our customers for their convenience and peace of mind, while encouraging them to share in the generosity.

“We want the community to know that Carrefour is here for them and we hope we can help as many families as possible this Ramadan.”
