Ramadan in Abu Dhabi 2021: Updated timings for parking, tolls, and buses

Keep note of the new timings for Ramadan

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi announced new timings for parking, tolls, and buses for Ramadan and here’s everything you need to know.

Parking

Those attending Tarawih prayers throughout Ramadan will be exempted from Mawaqif fees in the parking spaces surrounding mosques during the prayers times.

Drivers must ensure their vehicles are parked correctly and are not blocking traffic flow.

Throughout Ramadan, parking fees apply as per the schedule below:

Saturday to Wednesday: 9am to 2pm and 9pm to 2.30am.

Thursdays: 9am to 2pm and 9pm until midnight.

Fridays: Free.
Sat-Wed 9am-2pm, 9pm-2.30am; Thu 9am-2pm, 9pm-midnight. Ongoing throughout Ramadan 2021, www.itc.gov.ae.

Bus services

Abu Dhabi has updated its bus timetable schedule throughout Ramadan and timings vary by route and area.

Darb tolls

Earlier this year, Abu Dhabi introduced road tolls meaning all motorists visiting Abu Dhabi are required to register their vehicle (for everything you need to know about Abu Dhabi’s road toll system head here).

The toll fee timings have been revised for Ramadan 2021 and from Saturday to Thursday, the new timings are as follows: 8am to 10am and 2pm to 4pm.

Sat-Thu 8am-10pm, 2pm-4pm. Ongoing throughout Ramadan 2021, darb.itc.gov.ae.
