At the special iftar, you can expect distinctive dishes created by The Abu Dhabi EDITION’s exclusive partner Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens in collaboration with avant-garde local chef Mohamad Orfali from Dubai’s Orfali Bros. Time Out Dubai’s Best MENA Restaurant 2022 and MENA 6th Best Restaurant specialises in contemporary Arabic cuisine and is recognised for its signature flavours. You won’t find a menu like this anywhere else.
Since launching in 2018, The Abu Dhabi EDITION has worked closely in partnership with Aikens across its signature award-winning restaurants. Now, in collaboration with renowned Dubai-based chef Orfali, they have come up with an incredible Ramadan culinary experience that embraces authentic local connection. For the Ramadan 2022 iftar menu, the chefs have designed dishes both collaboratively and individually, for an iftar like no other and it’s all at the iftar at Market at EDITION.
The iftar includes Aikens’ signature mezze (muhammara, marinated chickpeas and pumpkin hummus), slow-roasted pomegranate and cinnamon lamb shoulder for main as well as a rose water and raspberry baba for dessert.
Set in the light, modern Market at EDITION lifestyle restaurant, guests can enjoy live stations. Patrons also have the option to elevate their experience in the private dining room. As the night progresses, guests are invited to converse, relax and enjoy Arabian flavours on the marina-facing terrace with suhoor under the starry night sky. The à la carte suhoor menu showcases traditional favourites such as chicken shawarma rolls, falafel wraps and tandoori prawn skewers, along with an innovative cauliflower and raisin tabbouleh and coconut rose mohalabieh.
