The capital has unique Ramadan offerings for memorable experiences during iftar or stunning locations for a tranquil suhoor this year. Many of Abu Dhabi’s well-known destinations, hotels and restaurants are offering memorable culinary experiences as part of their Ramadan 2022 iftar and suhoor packages. Expect an out-of-the-ordinary evening under the stars, overlooking the city’s skyline, on the beach, in the company of wild animals and much more all month.

Art Lounge, Louvre Abu Dhabi

This Ramadan, you can enjoy iftar in one of Abu Dhabi’s iconic landmarks – the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Taste the Ramadan 2022 à la carte options at Art Lounge as you soak in the picturesque rooftop views of the city’s shimmering skyline. Enjoy the evening with friends and family alongside Ramadan delicacies that have been specially curated to spark your curiosity and interest. Vine leaves stuffed with avocado and chickpea cream to start, lamb koftas and hot mezze, and sweet treats to end are some of the delicious options on the menu waiting for you. The iftar menu is priced à la carte.

Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi

Enjoy the atmosphere of Ramadan at one of the most awe-inspiring destinations in the city. There’s a sumptuous three-course iftar meal at the glamourous Emirati-French fine dining restaurant Fouquet’s Abu Dhabi at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Enjoy the artistic fusion of Emirate ingredients in sophisticated and authentic French cuisine style in the restaurant’s beautiful Ramadan setting.

Emirates Park Zoo

A unique iftar option awaits animal-lovers. Break your fast in the company of giraffes, elephants, camels and other jungle friends at the Emirates Park Zoo, Abu Dhabi. As part of the Ramadan package, you and your little ones will get to learn more about the animals, interact with them and enjoy an energised African drumming session in the end.

Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal

Take in the splendour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque from a unique viewing point on the Grand Lawn at the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal. Iftar and suhoor menu features Arabian favourites and signature shisha flavours, available in a lounge-style setting or in semi-private cabanas.

Al Ain Zoo

Ready for a roaring good time? It’s not at every iftar you are surrounded by lions, but you have the opportunity to do so at the world’s largest man-made African safari. The Iftar with Lions experience at Al Ain Zoo is available for those aged 12 and older, for a minimum of four people and a maximum of 12. Please book at least 48 hours in advance to secure your spots.

Royal Yacht Restaurant

An international buffet paired with delicious Ramadan juices and sweets for iftar is a beautiful experience to enjoy as you cruise along the Abu Dhabi coastline on the Royal Yacht Restaurant this month. The one-hour sightseeing cruise starts at Marina Mall and sails along the Abu Dhabi Corniche and Mina before heading back to Marina Mall.

Sidekicks, The WB Abu Dhabi, Yas Island

Looking for something exciting for the entire family? Break your fast with Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Robin and other classic Warner Bros. characters at the Sidekicks restaurant in the recently opened The WB Abu Dhabi on Yas Island. The buffet iftar boasts an authentic culinary experience of Levantine and modern cuisine with sweet treats to finish.

Sky Bubble or Skylight Dome at Jebel Hafit Desert Park, Al Ain

Emirates Palace

A breath-taking backdrop of a cascading fountain awaits you in one of the city’s most well-known destinations this Ramadan. Suhoor at Café by the Fountain at Emirates Palace features à la carte menu of international cuisines with Arabic influences, accompanied by live traditional and contemporary oud entertainment throughout the evening.
