If you’re the same, here are some of the best places to shop for gifts in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Mall

The sprawling retail complex first swung open its doors back in 2001 – and it is easy to see why it has stood the test of time. Nestled in the heart of the city, it is home to more than 200 major outlets, including designer brands, popular chains and more.

Al Raha Mall

Anything you could ever want is pretty much in store here, from traditional Arabian fashion brands to international outlets, to toy and book stores and a supermarket.

Al Wahda Mall

You really can do it all at Al Wahda Mall – especially since the vast space got made even bigger. There are dozens upon dozens of anchor stores in the extended mall, offering everything from electronics and fashion to jewellery and homeware.

Dalma Mall

Everything you could need is inside the massive Dalma Mall located in Mussafah. With shops selling everything from sporting goods, fashion, beauty products, electronics and everything in between there’s a good chance you’ll find exactly what you’re searching for here.

Deerfields Mall

There is a little bit of everything for visitors at Deerfields Mall especially when shopping for gifts. From sports and electronic to homeware and clothing, there’s a good chance you’ll find it here and can get it home and wrapped before the big day.

Marina Mall

One of the most striking shopping complexes in the city, Marina Mall boasts more than 400 brands and stores so you’re covered here. From international fashion brands to books, electronics, sporting goods and loads more, there’s loads on offer here.

The Galleria Al Maryah Island


If you are after a taste of the high life, Al Maryah’s luxurious shopping and dining destination is the place for you with all the biggest brands. As part of the extension there are loads more familiar high street brands to check out, as the capital’s only Kinokuniya book store and Decathlon sports shop.

The Mall at World Trade Center

The huge mall has a great selection of retail options to peruse and you will have a good time touring the mall, which is filled with more than 3,000 sq m of terraces and landscaped rooftop gardens home to international chains selling clothing, sports equipment, books and a whole lot more.

Yas Mall

If you’re looking for some retail therapy, you can get a comprehensive course at Abu Dhabi’s largest mall. Yas Mall is set over a staggering 2.5m square feet, featuring more than 400 big name brands selling everything from books and electronics to high-end fashion, beauty products and much more.
