Buying goods at the local grocery store is estimated to have risen by ten percent. Although the cost on common household products have increased, the prices do vary according to the outlet they are purchased from. Earlier in the year, the ministry established some monitoring systems in order to keep price hikes in check. It was also thought that many food staples would see no increase in cost until 2013. Despite these measures though, customers can expect to shell out more dirhams as they get their grocery shopping done each week.
