For the launch of Reebok’s Classic Leather Legacy sneaker in the UAE, Reebok MENA has teamed up with two UAE-based artists, Marta Lamovsek and Maajed Ahmed, to create some super bespoke kicks.

Marta Lamovsek, a Dubai-based photographer and visual artist, was inspired to start by collecting gems and trinkets from across the world. And her creation for Reebok was influenced by the crowded streets and souks of the UAE.

Maajed Ahmed, a graffiti artist originally from Saudi Arabia, used his signature graffiti-style of Arabic calligraphy for his designs, with the aim of translating western graffiti into Arabic style.

The collaboration with the talented artists is part of the “Write Your Legacy” campaign which allowed the artists to celebrate their legacy as creatives.

With prices starting from Dhs399, the cool customised sneakers are now available across all Reebok stores in the UAE including The Dubai Mall and BurJuman in Dubai, The Galleria Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah’s Mega Mall.
