Etisalat launches food deliveries through Smile mobile app

Get grub with the telecoms company

We’ve got more food delivery apps on our phones than we care to admit.

Each are a little bit different and we use different ones when we want different types of deliveries… or to see what offers are available.

We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again, we’re always looking to get the best deal possible so you best believe we’re taking advantage of discounts any time they’re going.

Offering you another option for getting a takeaway, one of the UAE’s largest telecoms providers has launched a new food delivery service.

Etisalat has launched the Smiles food order mobile app and it’s free to download on Apple and Android devices.

More than 2,500 restaurants are already delivering through the app, on which users can also get discounts on dishes that are exclusive to the service.

Plus, you earn redeemable Smile points for every Dhs1 spent on card payments.

“Today, dining is the most popular category on the Smiles platform, with our customers enjoying special offers with Smiles while dining out,” said Khaled Elkhouly, chief consumer officer at Etisalat.

“We listened to the voice of our customers and have now extended the convenience of food ordering via Smiles from the comfort of their own homes.

“Smiles, one of the largest lifestyle engagement programmes in the UAE, has more than 2.3 million registered members and is open to all citizens, residents and visitors of the UAE.

“It offers everyday savings to its members through earn and redemption of Smiles points for Etisalat, partner products and services as well as ‘Unlimited Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ and other discount offers at over 3,000 outlets, on entertainment, shopping, dining, travel, services and wellness experiences.”
