Dragon boating is a popular sport here in Abu Dhabi.
We know, it sounds like something from the pages of a George R.R Martin novel, but there a number of dragon boating groups here in the city that take the sport very seriously.
One of the biggest events for teams in the capital every year is the Dragon Boat Festival and the event is set to return on March 27 and 28.
The event will see teams from all over the UAE come to the capital to compete in the waters of Abu Dhabi.
The 14th edition of the festival will see the best teams in the country aiming to win and a host of events to encourage newcomers and corporate teams to take part in the two-day festival.
More details on participation, entertainment and deals across the weekend are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
