New luxury glamping spot, Hatta Caravan Park, is opening soon

Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi hub are opening too

Fan of the great outdoors? A brand-new luxury glamping spot is opening in Dubai’s Hatta.

Hatta Caravan Park is opening in October, and is the first luxury caravan park in the region. It will have 11 luxurious, bespoke caravans on offer, a deluxe interior and range of amenities including a television, kitchenette and free wifi. Each caravan can hold adults and two to three children, and prices start at Dhs1,350 per night.

If you haven’t taken a trip to Hatta yet, you should definitely add it to your to do list this winter. Gorgeous mountains, a picturesque lake and undisturbed scenery – it’s the perfect escape from the city.

Just an hour-and-a-half drive from most neighbourhoods in central Dubai, Hatta borders Oman. The best time to visit is during the cooler months as the area is a hub for outdoor adventures, activities and even a spot of glamping.

Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub will open to the public on Friday October 1 and will run until April 30, 2022.

While you’re there, you should definitely check out Hatta Dome Park, with 15 dome-shaped luxury tents with panoramic windows and majestic views of the Hatta Mountain range. The rooms come with a full range of amenities and have space for two adults and two children.

Hatta is also home to the first glamping trailers and mountain lodges in the UAE. Hatta Sedr Trailers Resort and Hatta Damani Lodges Resort are both designed to provide a picture-perfect escape.

Want to experience nature in a completely different way? Camp under the stars at Hatta Wadi Hub with 18 different camping areas to choose from and ten caravan spots. The camping experiences can be availed for Dhs129 during weekdays and Dhs199 on the weekend while the caravan spots cost Dhs299 midweek and Dhs399 on the weekend.

Explore the oldest archaeological areas in the UAE, including Hatta Falaj and tombs. This season, an inflatable obstacle course is coming to the Hub, spanning a distance of over 500m. Speed through the mountains with Rovers, a new four-wheel off-road electric scooter experience, or rent E-bikes from the Hatta Wadi Hub Mountain Biking shop.

Want to get your adrenaline going? Try the 350-metre Twin Zipline from the top of a mountain, get flung from a human slingshot, or go tube sliding.

There are tonnes of hiking trails to choose from all clearly marked with difficulty levels so you can get the most out of your visit. The routes are Green, Blue, Red and Black, ranging from easiest to hardest. Together, the Hatta Hiking Trails form the longest sign-posted hiking routes in the UAE.

We’re packing the caravan. Let’s go.
