5 to try: Skin rehydration

We pick five facials to help put a glow back in your skin

Fasting is certainly wonderful for helping you focus on your spirituality, develop your self-discipline and bond with the community – but there’s no denying it can take a toll on your skin. So if you want to avoid the pale, dehydrated look this month, try one of these rejuvenating facials that will put the moisture and nutrients back into your skin.

Espa have a special facial on the books just for August, and this one is specifically designed to refresh tired skin. If yours has become dull through lack of sleep, stress or exposure to pollution (sound familiar?) this is one to try. The spa’s skin pros apply Espa Super Active Skin Brightening Complex which is rich in natural exfoliants from Hawaiian algae and meadowsweet, so you’re left with a smoother complexion, reduced pigmentation and brighter skin overall. The facial also improves your circulation, so if you’re feeling a bit sluggish and worn out, this will give you a little lift.
