Dubai’s Team AngelWolf siblings will virtually climb Sydney Opera House

Rio will be strapped to sister Tia’s back

Dubai-based Team AngelWolf  siblings, Rio and Tia Watson, are set to virtually climb Sydney Opera House.

13-year-old Tia is set to carry Rio up and down the stairs of their home 9.25 times, the equivalent of Sydney Opera House, on Saturday September 26 at 6pm.

Rio has a rare chromosome disorder and is 3kg heavier than his sister.

While Rio and his dad have climbed several iconic buildings over the past few months, including Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, as part of a series of Climb with Rio challenges, this is the next things on the inspirational family’s to do list.

Tia Watson said: ‘’In my world I am his sister, his translator, his teacher and his helper; sometimes I have to make sacrifices and have a little more patience but most importantly I am his best friend. I am the voice of a sister of a brother with disabilities. My goal is to encourage our community to be active and inclusive by showing the rest of the universe how I live with the most amazing brother in the world!’’

Team AngelWolf is encouraging people from all over the world to get involved and take on their own climb-a-thon, by picking an iconic landmark and virtually scaling it.

This is real sibling love.
