Whether you’re new to Abu Dhabi and you’re looking to make new friends or you just fancy trying something new, the Abu Dhabi Softball League has lots to offer.
Open to men and women over 18, you have until September 1 to sign up to play in the upcoming season of the Competitive Division, which is open to experienced players.
But don’t worry, if you’ve never played the sport before or you’re a bit of a beginner, you can also sign up to the Recreational Division.
Registration for this section of the league is open from September 7 at 7pm to September 9 at 7pm, and the season will start on September 25.
Spots are known to fill up fast, so make sure you get in there quickly.
The Competitive Division practice on Monday nights and the Recreational on Wednesday nights at the purpose-built softball court at Zayed Sports City.
Plus, if you don’t have your equipment, everything you need will be provided free of charge.
Kids aged between four and 13 can also sign up to the Abu Dhabi Little Sluggers League with registration open until September 28.
