More big names added to the HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship

It’s almost time to tee off in the capital

World class talent is on it’s way to the capital once again this month for a returning sporting event.

The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship 2020, presented by EGA is returning from January 16 to 19 2020.

The fifteenth edition of the tournament will once again be held at Abu Dhabi Golf Club and will be the first Rolex Series event of the European Tour calendar.

Once again some of the world’s best golfers will assemble in the capital to compete for the Falcon Trophy.

Golfers already confirmed to be competing this year include World Number One Brooks Koepka, defending champion Shane Lowry, two-time winner Tommy Fleetwood, Bryson DeChambeau, Sergio Garcia and Ian Poulter.

Now, two more names have been added to the roster to compete this year in the capital.

Both Patrick Cantlay and Haotong Li will be at the 15th edition of the tournament.

Before the golfers take to the green at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, another unique event is set to be held on Yas Island.

The Hero Challenge will take place at Yas Marina Circuit and it will feature some of the top golfers who are competing in the tournament.

The players will be entertaining the crowds by taking turns trying to hit a range of targets spread throughout the Formula One track.

Tickets to the event are free and it offers a great chance to see some of the best golfing talent in action before they grace the greens of Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
