While travelling outside of the country isn’t quite so straightforward at the moment, a staycation with the kids in the UAE could be a good holiday option.
InterContinental Dubai Festival City has launched a cool family staycation from Dhs399 per room per night that includes plenty to keep the little ones entertained.
The Suite Playcation package, which is in partnership with Toys R Us meaning kids can expect to find lots of fun surprises when they open the doors to their family room, includes a free upgrade to an InterContinental Suite, as well as breakfast either in your room or in all-day dining restaurant Anise.
Lunch or dinner is also included and you can choose to have room service (a good option with little ones) or to book a table for the fam in Anise, and early and late check-ins are also an option.
In addition, kids under 12 eat for free during your stay and baking activities with the hotel’s chefs are on the menu too.
If kids want a specific Barbie or LEGO set, they can order online and have the toys delivered directly to the suite. So if you’re little one is celebrating a birthday during lockdown and so can’t see their friends or have a party, then this could be a good option – presents delivered to your door!
Alternatively, if you need more of an active staycation that focuses on loosing that lockdown stone (you know what we’re talking about), then the Suite Gym-cation might be more up your street.
The offer, which is also Dhs399 per room per night, includes private in-suite technogym facilities with workout equipment and a personalised healthy meal programme.
