Here in Abu Dhabi, we’re lucky enough to be able spend our weekends partying on beaches and visiting amazing islands.
Well, one of the very best island parties is back this Friday (July 19), and you need to check it out.
Maya Fridays is an event held on Al Maya Island, a stylish resort found just a short boat ride from the capital.
The parties on this private island are legendary.
Here, you can chill in the huge pool or on the golden sands of the beach, enjoy super mixed drinks as you take in the view of the city skyline and party the day away.
The line up on Friday includes DJs Lucy Stone, Chad Phunk and Rob Forest, and entry is free for ladies before 1pm and free for Etihad Airways employees before 2pm.
Tickets are Dhs125 per person and each pass includes one free drink.
You can get here by taking the free boat shuttle from the Al Maya boat harbour near the Corniche, or if you have your own boat or jet ski (lucky you) you can park it there for free.
The event is open to couples and mixed groups aged over 21, and it runs from 11am until 9pm.
Get ready to make all your Insta followers very, very jealous.
