Free kids cooking places in Abu Dhabi during the long weekend

Yamanote Atelier will be hosting three different sessions

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids this weekend (we know the feeling), then you’re in the right place.

Chef Studio, taking place in The Galleria Al Maryah Island is hosting more than 25 free cooking classes until December 15. Some of the sessions have already booked up, you can check here for the full list and to see which ones are fully booked. 

During the course of the event, part of Abu Dhabi Culinary Season and organised by Time Out and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, there will also be sessions suitable for parents and kids.

This weekend, popular Japanese bakery Yamanote Atelier will host two classes, at 3pm on Friday December 4 and Saturday December 5.

During first class, chef Walter Melo will show kids how to decorate Japanese pancakes in a fun, interactive session, in the second there will be a lesson om maling fruit sushi.

There will be a further class from Yamanote Atelier at 2pm on Friday, December 11 all about making kids’ tiramisu.

The classes will last around an hour and are for kids aged seven and above and there are only six spaces available for each one.
