Time Out Market Dubai is now open – and if you’re planning a trip, be sure to download the venue’s nifty app.
Since opening on Wednesday April 7, Time Out Market Dubai has proven hugely popular.
With social distancing in place throughout, capacity is limited, so be prepared to queue for entry, as there are no reservations and tables are only available on a first come, first served basis. And of course, once inside, remember to avoid sitting at tables marked with social distancing stickers.
But enough about that – let’s talk about the app, and why it needs to be on your phone.
Available through both the Apple and Android stores, the app allows diners to peruse menus from their seats, and skip lines that might be (/are definitely) forming by ordering direct from their smartphones.
Each restaurant’s estimated serving time is also shown, and once you’ve placed your order you’ll receive a nifty notification to let you know it’s ready for collection. (Just make sure you’ve got those notifications switched on…!)
Already struggling to decide which fantastic eatery to order from? There will soon be pictures of every single dish on all 17 menus – so prepare for some seriously difficult decisions ahead.
Located on the upper floor of Souk Al Bahar in Downtown Dubai, Time Out Market Dubai promises the best of the city under one roof. And it’s a fair claim – all 17 home-grown restaurants and chefs within have been handpicked by Time Out editors to take up residence in the 43,000 sq ft space.
With all that, plus three bars and a wraparound terrace featuring splash-tactular views of The Dubai Fountain, Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall (yes, it’s only a short stroll with your shopping bags after a weekend splurge), little wonder Time Out Market Dubai is the hottest place in town right now.
