New activities coming to Abu Dhabi this summer

Already made your way through the coolest vintage stores around, feasted on the best budget Pakistani eats, and experienced the best the city has to offer at night? Well, we have good news, as Abu Dhabi has lined up even more new activities and events for you to try over the next few months.

Every summer, Abu Dhabi launches a whole host of exclusive deals and events for residents and visitors to enjoy across the capital as the weather heats up.

This year’s campaign – dubbed summer #inAbuDhabi – will run from Thursday June 24 until Tuesday August 31, and there’s plenty to see and do.

First up is the newly launched Emotions! The New Art Adventure exhibition at The Children’s Museum inside the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

Kids aged four to ten will get to learn how to express emotions through drawing, collage, and 3D art, in a way that combines entertainment with education.

Everyone knows the best way to avoid the summer heat is to pay a visit to the malls, and if you fancy shopping this summer you can get up to 80 percent off at more than 3,000 stores across the capital as part of the annual Retail Abu Dhabi.

Participating malls include The Galleria Al Maryah Island, Yas Mall, Deerfields Mall and Al Ain Mall, and you can expect offers like buy one get one free on selected items at Debenhams or 25 percent off the total bill at Pizza Express.

Speaking of scoops, Abu Dhabi Culinary is promising to turn the next two months into a summer of ice cream.

Alongside workshops, demonstrations and installations, Abu Dhabi plans to break yet another Guinness World Record by having 1,001 ice cream flavours available at Yas Mall.
