Searching for something sporty? Abu Dhabi T10 is starting this weekend and this massive cricket event is not one to be missed. If you’re looking for family-friendly film screenings, we have you covered there. too.

Sheikh Zayed Festival

Looking for a mega festival in Abu Dhabi? Look no further than the Sheikh Zayed Festival, coming to Abu Dhabi this weekend. The event will host fun activities in celebration of UAE National Day: the Year of the 50th. The festival will run from Thursday November 18 to April 1, 2022 at Al Wathbah. There will be over 4,500 international cultural events, more than 650 performances over the course of the festival and it all starts this weekend.

Abu Dhabi Art

It’s the art event we look forward to every year. Abu Dhabi Art is returning to the UAE capital this weekend and it looks better than ever. There are 49 galleries, 190 artists and over 600 artworks to see. The event expands beyond a traditional art fair and includes art installations and exhibitions, talks and events that take place in different locations throughout the year. It is the culmination of a year-long programme, and is the spot to buy some of the world’s best art (or simply stand in front of it in awe).

Arijit Singh live in concert

Arijit Singh will be performing a live concert at Etihad Arena this weekend. He is one of the most versatile singers of the modern era, and is returning to Abu Dhabi after five years to perform hit songs. Singh performs mostly in Hindi, Bengali and Telugu, but has also performed in various other Indian languages. He is the recipient of a National Award and a record six Filmfare Awards. You will need to be fully vaccinated with green pass status to attend the event. Gates open at 6pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Abu Dhabi T10

If you’re looking for something sporty to do this weekend, we have great news: Abu Dhabi T10 is returning to the capital. It’s the world’s only 10-over cricket tournament officially sanctioned by the International Cricket Council, and brings together over 120 of the world’s biggest cricket names. This edition is being held over 15 days from November 19 to December 4. Past Abu Dhabi T10 champions include Kerala Kings, Maratha Arabians and Northern Warrior. Family film screenings at the Louvre Abu Dhabi

If you’re looking for something to do with the family, the Louvre Abu Dhabi is launching a free film series based on the new Dragon and Phoenix exhibition. There will be a series of short films: a multi-cultural collection of folktales from around the world, followed by different feature films each week. Films include “Bilal: a New Breed of Hero,” and “Raya and the Last Dragon.” Reservations are recommended.
