Dubai Shopping Festival wraps up for its final week

The 27th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is set to go out with a bang with its final ‘Mega Week’.

The festival officially wraps up on Sunday January 30, with gigs from James Blunt, Rashid Al Majed and Waleed Al Shami lined up for the final weekend.

Its jam-packed agenda includes several more retail and leisure, plus fireworks displays and prize giveaways with millions of dirhams available to win.

Live performances

The DSF Mega Music Weekend will comprise a series of A-list performances. The DSF closing concerts live at the Coca Cola Arena will run from Saturday January 29 and Sunday January 30. A-list performers include the likes of James Blunt, Rashid Al Majed and Waleed Al Shami.

What’s more, there will be an immersive hologram experience to feast your eyes on at Al Habtoor City Theatre. The ‘Sawwah’ display will pay tribute to Egyptian singing legend Abdel Halim Hafez.

Fireworks

The Mega Weekend will go out with a bang with the cracking DSF firework displays all week at The Pointe from 9pm onwards by the Al Zarouni Group.

Fun for the kids

There’s also fun for the nippers to partake in. The Harry Potter Experience at the Mall of Emirates will continue with its journey through Hogwarts until Thursday February 10.
