Eid Al-Adha in Abu Dhabi is around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate. There’s loads of things to do for Eid in the city, from brilliant brunches to parties to cool activities. It’s shaping up to be an incredible Eid 2022 break.
The celebrations are slated to start with Arafat Day, which is expected to fall on Friday July 8. Eid Al-Adha is then anticipated to start on Saturday July 9, giving us Friday July 8 to Monday July 11 off, although those dates are subject to final government approval, like some other 2022 UAE public holidays.

Fireworks at Yas Bay Waterfront
Yas Island is hosting Eid Al-Adha fireworks this year that are bound to dazzle kids and big kids alike. The special fireworks show will pop, fizz and bang across the Abu Dhabi skyline from Yas Bay Waterfront from Saturday July 9 to Monday July 11. The show starts at 9pm, arrive early to get a good spot.

Go for a round of indoor sports at ADNEC
Abu Dhabi Summer Sports is arriving at ADNEC and is the biggest event of its kind in the Middle East. There are football fields, two five-a-side football fields, three basketball courts, three badminton courts or the three volleyball courts.

Kids go free offer at Yas theme parks
This offer isn’t just on during Eid Al-Adha, but you can certainly take advantage during Eid. The “kids go free” offer means that kids below the age of 12 get in for free to three world-class theme parks: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. Looking to jam to live music over the Eid Al-Adha long weekend? Living Room Live is returning to W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island on Sunday July 10 with a free concert that you likely don’t want to miss. There’s a new teamLab Phenomena pop-up at Mamsha Al Saadiyat and Eid Al-Adha is the perfect time to see it. TeamLab Phenomena is an immersive digital experience with two eye-popping exhibitions.
