Hold onto your hat because the region’s largest Hollywood-inspired theme park, Motiongate Dubai, has two new first-of-their-kind rides: the world’s fastest spinning rollercoaster and the world’s first John Wick rollercoaster.
The two new, world-first rollercoasters are launching on Friday January 21 as part of the theme park’s Lionsgate expansion.
Now You See Me franchise is the world’s fastest spinning rollercoaster and the adrenaline-inducing ride is inspired by the thriller franchise of the same name. Prepare to scream through the twists and turns.

The John Wick Rollercoaster takes inspiration from its namesake’s hit movie franchise so we’re expecting plenty of action.
The Lionsgate zone is also home to rides and attractions such as the Capitol Bullet Train.
The rollercoasters will join a line-up of over 100 thrilling family-friendly rides at Motiongate.
The theme park is divided up into themed zones based around motion picture studios, which also include the Dreamworks Animation zone and the Smurf Village.
Motiongate is part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, which is also behind LEGOLAND Dubai. It will soon become home to the region’s first LEGOLAND Hotel, where families can enjoy a staycation in a unique LEGO-themed space. Keep it locked here for all of the latest updates on the unique hotel.
