Events for friends and families in Abu Dhabi this month

While there are numerous spots around town hosting special Ramadan events, families and friends can enjoy a full day of activities a few miles up the road. Here are some of the great events in the emirate lined up for this Holy Month.

Head to Ferrari World
If you are in need of some thrills and spills, head to this iconic destination where UAE residents will receive a 40 percent discount as part of the venue’s ‘Heat Wave Campaign’. From July 8-August 7, you can escape the sweltering conditions in the world’s largest indoor theme park.

Take a walk on the wild side
During the Holy Month, Al Ain Zoo will be launching a summer break programme. Not only will this venue have new attractions and activities, but children will enjoy free entry when accompanied by two adults. Thursday until Saturday from 6pm-10pm.

Catch a show
Don’t miss the exciting acts that will be featured at Du Forum. As part of SummerFest Abu Dhabi, a host of comedians and musicians will grace the stage, adding an element of entertainment to those long Ramadan nights. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, the schedule is sure to feature something that will please the whole family.
