We’ve all been Louvre Abu Dhabi by now, haven’t we? If not, what have you been doing the past two years?
Rotating exhibitions and staring at that incredible roof keeps drawing us back for another visit but now there’s a new way to experience the museum from the water.
Back in April we announced that you can now kayak around Louvre Abu Dhabi on a weekend, and we have to admit it’s a pretty special experience.
But how about doing it at night?
Seahawk, the company taking kayakers around Louvre Abu Dhabi, is now launching a full moon version of the tours so you can see what the iconic museum looks like lit up at night from the water.
If you’ve never seen Louvre Abu Dhabi lit up at night then you’re missing out, and getting to check it out while kayaking in the cooler weather sounds perfect to us.
Tours will take place on July 17 and 18, August 1 and 16 and September 13 and 14 and they run at 8.30pm and 10pm and last an hour. There’s no price at the moment, but the usual kayak tours are Dhs126 per person.
Spaces are limited and booking is essential so if you want to get involved it’s best to plan ahead.
One piece of advice from us… Try not drop your phone in the ocean while snapping pictures for Instagram.
