Concert announcements are coming thick and fast for Abu Dhabi, and now music fans have another huge gig to look forward to.
Rock superstars Red Hot Chili Peppers will make their UAE debut in Abu Dhabi as part of the UFC 242 Abu Dhabi Showdown Week.
The band will perform on Wednesday September 4 at the new purpose built arena being built on Yas Island for the UFC event.
Another concert, taking place on the following night September 5, is set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, acting executive director of tourism and marketing at DCT Abu Dhabi, said: “The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ concert elevates the entire Abu Dhabi Showdown Week proposition and ensures our week-long programme will appeal to as many fans as possible.”
Tickets are set to go on sale in the coming days and will cost Dhs250 for general admission and Dhs995 for Platinum tickets.
