Rita Ora, Disclosure and more to perform huge gig in Dubai

The ‘Wake Up Call’ festival will take place in October at W Dubai – The Palm

You can forget about sleeping in this October, as this aptly named festival will wake you right up for a full weekend of hit tunes and partying.

The ‘WAKE UP CALL’ festival is coming to Dubai in October, and it’s bringing in top-quality acts such as international star singer Rita Ora, electric duo Disclosure and more to perform live.

The three-day festival will be hosted by W Dubai – The Palm from Thursday October 10 until Saturday 12.

As well as performances by Rita Ora and Disclosure, who will be playing a DJ set, guests will also be able to watch dance phenomenon RÜFÜS DU SOL.

The event has even teased an “all-star culinary line-up that rivals the weekend’s on-stage talent” from restaurants such as Torno Subito and Akira Back. Big food as well as big acts? We’re intrigued.

Even better, room key and ticket holders can check in, then check out performances throughout the hotel – from WET deck DJ parties to main stage live sets – by some of the hottest acts in the music industry today.

“WAKE UP CALL has raised the volume on the festival circuit,” said Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader, W Hotels Worldwide. “Festivalgoers don’t necessarily want to sleep in a field, line-up for a portable toilet or sample the standard festival fast food.

“Our guests want all the playful luxuries of a W Hotel stay whilst they enjoy incredible artists and an authentic festival vibe. WAKE UP CALL offers just that. It’s a truly unforgettable experience that we are excited to bring to our newest hotel in the Middle East, W Dubai – The Palm.”
