Where to watch Eid al-Adha Fireworks in the UAE

From Dubai Festival City to Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina, expect quite a show

We won’t need to wait much longer to celebrate Eid al-Adha, and if you’re looking for a spot to watch the skies light up with an array of colourful fireworks, we’ve got you covered.

Head to Dubai Festival City Mall on Sunday August 11 and Monday August 12 where IMAGINE – the record-breaking water, lights and laser show – has designed a special show this Eid, with two shows every night at 8pm and 10pm.

It’s the only place in Dubai that will be putting on the grand firework show this Eid, and it’s sure to be packed. Get down early to get a good spot.

For those in the capital this Eid, you won’t want to miss Yas Marina’s three spectacular firework displays.

The shows in Abu Dhabi will take place between 9pm and 9.06pm (on the dot) on Monday 12, Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 of August.

Guests can also watch the celebration from the deck of a traditional dhow ship when you go on a Captain Tony’s Eid Fireworks Fun Cruise.

Best part about both shows? They’re completely free to attend. Sit back and watch the dazzling displays without paying a dirham.

Eid al-Adha is set to fall on Sunday August 11 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with private and public sector workers entitled to a holiday between Saturday August 10 and Tuesday August 13 this year.
