Abu Dhabi is a melting pot of different cultures, and this September the capital’s residents are invited to join in East Asian Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations at The Shangri-La Hotel.
On Friday September 13, the hotel is hosting a moon and lantern festival, and it includes something for all the family to enjoy.
The day kicks off with a brunch across Shang Palace, Hoi An and Sofra Bld.
This magnificent feast will feature popular Chinese and Vietnamese dishes, live entertainment, lantern-colouring activities for children and also pool and beach access.
After brunch the lantern release ceremony will take place at the infinity pool at 7pm.
Guests are invited to release candles and lanterns into the water and make a wish, and it’s going to look absolutely beautiful.
Meanwhile, the dinner options include special set menus at Shang Palace and Hoi An, and the latter will also be providing live Vietnamese music.
