Dubai-based fans of Indian musician and composer AR Rahman are in luck, as the star will be coming to the city to perform later this year.
AR Rahman is coming to play at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena in November.
The composer has won many awards, including two Academy Awards, two Grammies, four National Film Awards and a Golden Globe.
The musician will be playing at Dubai’s new arena on November 15. And we’re promised some “very special guests”, although no clues have yet been given as to who they are.
“I always look forward to performing here,” said Rahman. “Dubai is like a melting pot of cultures. Each time I come back, I get so much love from the people and it’s overwhelming. I am happy to announce my next concert and I’m accompanied by my talented band and singers. We all look forward to presenting a very special set of songs for you.”

The Coca-Cola Arena has so far hosted top names including Russell Peters, Westlife, The 1975 and Maroon 5.
