Football is back in Abu Dhabi and fans will be loving the amount of live games on TV every single week.
Closer to home, the Arabian Gulf League UAE kicks off this week so you can get yourself along to a game and support one of the teams from the capital.
Helping to build excitement and allow fans to meet their heroes, Abu Dhabi’s own Al Jazira FC is hosting a meet and greet this weekend in the capital.
This Friday September 20, the first team squad will be at Yas Mall from 6.30pm to meet fans, sign autographs and get pictures taken.
Among the players attending the meet and greet are UAE internationals Ali Mabkhout, Khalfan Mubarak and team captain Ali Khaseif.
New signings Omar Abdulrahman, Amer Abdulrahman, Brazilian attacker Keno, Serbian defender Milos Kosanovic, South African midfielder Thulani Serero, Sultan Al Ghaferi and Morocco’s Mourad Batna will also be in attendance for fans to get their first glimpse of the new squad.
Head coach Jurgen Streppel will also be taking to the stage for a Q&A with fans.
Before and after the event a fan zone will be set up in the mall’s town square where fans can try football related ha,es and activities completely free of charge.
