Where there’s a will, there’s a way and when it comes to protecting the environment, UAE’s youth movement Connect with Nature isn’t letting the coronavirus pandemic get in its way.
The eco-friendly organisation, set up by young people across the nation who are passionate about saving the environment, has launched its popular campaign online offering free workshops and activities to take part in from your own home.
The online programme allows you to continue to do your bit to preserve nature by offering expert guidance on reducing waste and conserving water while at home. To make sure we all stay physical and mentally fit, there’ll also be a series of virtual activities to enjoy nature-inspired workouts, masterclasses, podcast parties and virtual debates to explore new ideas.
There’ll also be plant-based recipes to try at home if you fancy getting creative in the kitchen and much more. Best of all? The entire programme is completely free, all you have to do is sign up to Connect with Nature.
You’ll find all of the upcoming events in the activities hub, with the schedule being updated weekly.
Everyone participating in the virtual experiences will be rewarded with online badges, which can increase your chances of becoming one of 20 for ‘20 UAE
Ambassadors for Nature’ – a nation-wide search to find 20 future sustainability leaders who can forefront conversations on the topic in the UAE.
