WATCH: Every Slide Tried at Atlantis The Palm’s Aquaventure Waterpark

First look at the rides of the brand-new Palm Jumeirah waterpark

If you like waterparks, you’ll love Aquaventure. And if you like huge thrills, you’ll want to check this out.

Atlantis The Palm’s Aquaventure Waterpark has opened a brand-new – and absolutely massive – extension making it the world’s largest waterpark. Officially.

Being the adrenaline-junkies that we are, we shot straight down to Aquaventure Waterpark to test out all of the new rides and slides as part of our Every Slide Tried series.

Time Out Dubai was first into the park, which opens to the public on March 3, and we’ve jumped aboard all the slides do you can see exactly what to expect.

The popular Palm Jumeirah attraction has expanded by a third with 28 brand-new record-breaking waterslides meaning Aquaventure Waterpark is now home to 105 slides and attractions in total. Wowzers.

Head for heights? Watch with caution: we tackle the world’s tallest waterslide of its kind, the longest family water coast, the tallest vertical drop body slide in the Middle East and the region’s first cliff jumping experience.

Want to see what’s in store? Watch us jump aboard the Vortex, Immortal Falls, Odyssey of Terror, Blackout, Shockwave, Hydra Racers, and Raging Rapids – just so you know what’s in store for when you head down this weekend.
