Ever wanted to see a non-fungible token (NFT) work of art in person? Now you can at the WOW (World of Web3) festival, the first digital alternative reality festival happening in Dubai this month.
The future is definitely here with WOW bringing one of the biggest NFT pop-up galleries to the UAE. The gallery space is part of the WOW (World of Web3) festival, which is running from Sunday March 13 to Wednesday March 16 at the very real Burj Park.
Touted as the first digital alternative reality festival in the GCC, the purpose-built exhibition aims to raise awareness for blockchain market in the UAE, along with providing a space for people to see NFTs in person.

Open to the public, the WOW pop-up gallery is set to be one of the biggest digital art shows in the United Arab Emirates. It will feature large screens of NFT artworks in a dark, futuristic exhibition hall. Some of the NFTs will be available to purchase, but there will also be a selection of digital pictures that have already been bought and are displayed in galleries around the world.
Visitors can expect to see NFTs from artists all across the world from the UAE to USA, Australia, China and Lebanon. The works will displayed in a gallery space underneath the Burj Khalifa.
Wondering what else is happening at the WOW festival? The three-day event will also explore “alternative reality” from a business perspective through a summit of talks with speakers including Dr Marwan Al Zarouni, who is the CEO of Blockchain Center UAE. There will also be talks, panels and fireside chats from crypto-lawyers and software developers.
