Time Out editors say:
Bao, bowls and bites – BB Social is a celebration of alliterating, ‘Eastern’ eats, devised by co-founder and executive chef Alex Stumpf. Dishes here don’t belong to a particular country’s cuisine, but borrow highlights from many. BB’s super green hummus leans moreishly towards the Levant, while the Habibti bao (habibti the Arabic feminine for “darling”), featuring a whole tempura softshell crab, marries a Chinese presentation with Japanese flavours. Think you’re serious about sando? You’ve got nothing on these guys.
