Learn how to cook with these celebrities on Instagram

Make budget meals with Jamie Oliver and cook dinner with Chrissy Teigen

If like us, you’ve been spending your home time brushing up on your cooking skills and getting creative in the kitchen – in between ordering your favourite takeaways of course – then we’ve got just the thing to keep you going.

Ever wondered what the rich and famous eat when they’re stuck at home in self-isolation? Well, many of them have taken to Instagram to not only show us but to teach us how to whip up some of their go-to meals and naturally, we’re inspired.

From Chrissy Teigen to Netflix star Antoni Porowski, learn how to cook at home with these celebrities…

Antoni Porowski

The Queer Eye star has created an entire cooking series on IGTV titled Quar Eye: Cooking Lessons in Quarantine (genius, we know). The first episode sees him cooking an omelette which he once again has cleverly dubbed ‘The Keep Calm-lette’ which he made with whatever was left at his local supermarket. He has since made several other cooking tutorials for salmon, chicken and ‘zoodle’ dishes – all of which have been aptly named.

Chrissy Teigen

Supermodel (and one half of the best celebrity couple going) Chrissy Teigen, is known for her passion for cooking. The star, who is married to John Legend, has her own cook book and YouTube channel dedicated to all things food. Her most recent video, which she shared a sneak peek version of on Instagram, shows Chrissy teaching us how to cook cheesy sunchip chicken – yum.

Idris & Sabrina Elba

Actor Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina Elba may both be in self-isolation suffering with coronavirus but that hasn’t stopped them cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Sabrina has been encouraging fans to cook along with the couple by sharing her quick and easy recipes via Instagram stories. She picked off with a baking tutorial with her husband and recently let us follow as she cooked a simple turkey pasta. Unlike the other stars, Sabrina seems to be sharing her videos on Instagram Stories only but the good news is that it looks like it’s going to be a regular thing during quarantine season so follow her for the latest tutorials.

Jamie Oliver

If you’ve got little ones at home then this is one for you. Jamie Oliver shared an old cooking video filmed with his kids on IGTV, showing us all how to whip up a homemade pizza in just ten minutes whilst keeping the children entertained. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.

Martha Stewart

The American star’s Instagram page is dedicated to all things home and cooking, so it is no surprise to see her tips and tricks for getting through quarantine at home. She recently shared a video on IGTV demonstrating how to make her ginger, lemon and brown sugar tea which she credited for soothing an itchy throat and helping you feel calm during the stressful pandemic. She also shows us how to make Irish soda bread as well as sharing several other recipes.
